What I would like to become? This
question passes me greatly. Every job has its elements of difficulties and
interest. I think that nearly all the professions are very important in life.
But to choose the right occupation is very difficult, because we must take into consideration many factors. We must consider our personal taste and our kind
of mind. Choosing the kind of career to follow is probably one of the most
important decisions you will ever make. Before you make this decision you will
have to do a lot of thinking about who you are, about the things you like to do
and the things you do well. It is an advantage to choose a future career while
at school. It gives a goal to work towards and enables to choose a right, suitable
course of study. When deciding your future you must be realistic about your
interests and abilities. Skills, interests, personality, and values play an
important role in a career choice.
There are many influencers on a
teenager’s career decision. Sometimes a game they played when they were young
or a character on a television show can spark a lifelong interest in a job. But
it should be admitted that many people became interested in a particular career
through somebody they knew. And parents are the most important influencers on a
young person’s career decision. What parents do for a living; where they live;
their education, knowledge and skills; what they earn; and how they spend their
time and money have a huge influence on their child’s career decisions. Young
people often follow in their parents’ footsteps to keep their family work
traditions.
Very often young people want to receive
practical help and advice from their friends. But peer pressure can sometimes
limit young people’s career aspirations.
Before getting a good job, everyone
needs to try many other jobs. To me, one of the best moments to try initial
careers is student time. Indeed, this is the best period in human’s life to
absorb knowledge and get experience. For some reasons, I think students should
take a part-time job. In my opinion, part-time jobs have a lot of advantages.
To begin with, they help us become independent and responsible, so if you do
not want to live off your parents the whole life, looking for a temporary job
is the best option. Furthermore, due to part-time jobs youngsters can learn how
to cooperate and get along with people. On the other hand, part-time jobs are
often criticized because they distract students from studying. I would say that
working at a part-time job is a great experience because it helps people
realize that money does not grow on trees.
This year I'm leaving school. I have
already decided what career to choose. I would like to be a___________________
